GROOMING STANDARDS and DRESS CODE
- Jewelry pierced in other visible parts of the body except the ears must be removed or be clear or flesh colored during working hours.
- Hair must be a naturally occurring color.
- Body tattoos must be tasteful and not-distracting if visible.
- Your supervisor will assist you with the issue of an appropriate uniform for your work position. You are responsible for the care and maintenance of your uniform.
- For non-uniformed employees the appropriate dress is “business casual”.

If you are offered a job after having been interviewed by the department manager, you will meet with Human Resources to complete new hire paperwork and receive a basic overview of some important policies and what the Strater has to offer. Group orientation is scheduled with other new employees, with a deeper dive into the culture, craftsmanship, and experience of Strater team members.

Individual will coordinate and implement the efforts and initiatives of The Strater’s marketing team, which consists of the Marketing Committee, the advertising agency of record, and outside resources, as necessary.
Serve as a central hub for project and promotional requests to put into action the necessary team/resources to property and efficiently distribute the message.
Production management of marketing projects – including trafficking materials internally to and from the department heads, assuring timely and cost-effective completion of The Strater’s marketing and promotions.
Distribution of materials to distribution channels as necessary.
Attend Marketing Committee Meetings and provide necessary input and reporting to same.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud/Photoshop and Indesign as well as Word Press CMS.
Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.
F&B Administrative Assistant

Server – Breakfast at the Mahogany Grille
If you love history and Durango, helping guests and employees, and working when it’s crazy busy or when it’s quiet, join our professional team at Durango’s iconic Strater Hotel. Must be available weekends and holidays. This shift runs 7am-3pm. Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local laws/guidelines.
