Bluegrass Underground (2011-2016 PBS TV Series)
Bluegrass Underground is a monthly event that has taken place in Cumberland Caverns since 2008. In 2011, PBS decided to help make it become a syndicated series. Season 2 was awarded four Emmys, including “Best Entertainment Program”. Get ready to thrill to the likes of Gillian Welch, Old Crow Medicine Show, Andrew Bird, and many, many more. Purgatory Ski Resort is located 25 miles north of downtown Durango and now has great spring Skiing.
